Stunning Saint is looking for his forever family, and wants his new people to know these 10 things about him:
1. I am a Cane Corso and I am about 2 years old. I am a very big boy, topping the scales at 130lbs.
2. I’ve had a lot of instability in my short life. My first owner didn’t understand my breed and wasn’t able to give me the foundation or training that I needed. As a result, I found myself at a shelter in Louisiana not long after my first birthday, and I bounced around a lot before arriving at The Bullpen.
3. I CAN ONLY GO TO A HOME WITH EXTENSIVE GIANT GUARDIAN BREED EXPERIENCE. I thrive when I have very clear and firm boundaries, and I need to be with people that understand that it will take some time to build trust with me. My perfect forever family will be willing to continue training and working with me to build confidence.
4. I would like to live in a quiet, adults-only home that doesn’t have too many visitors.
5. I seem to be generally indifferent to most other dogs. If my new family had other female canine pets, and we were allowed to meet slowly over the course of several weeks, I think I could make that work.
6. My only experience with cats since arriving at the sanctuary is the occasional sighting of a barn cat, so I can’t say for sure if a feline-friendly home is right for me.
7. The words that best describe me are gorgeous, obedient, and playful.
8. My favorite things to do are exploring the yard, learning new skills, and taking naps.
9. All things considered, my doggy manners are excellent. I am housebroken and crate trained, I know basic obedience and how to use a dog door, and I am pretty good on a leash.
10. I am fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped.
Ready to give Saint the forever home of his dreams? Fill out our Adoption Application, located at
The Bullpen Way Station & Sanctuary under the 'work with us' tab.
We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation.
Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-served basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.
