Here's what the humans have to say about me:
In Cypress, TX - Fisher was found by a lady in NE Texas. He was living in a ditch. He was surviving on trash. The lady took Fisher to a vet and got him vaccinated and neutered. He is HW+ and finishing up his medication by the end of the month. The lady reached out to rescues to foster and find him a home as she could not keep him.
Fisher is a PB Black Tri Aussie. He is about 3 years old and weighs 44 lbs. He is neutered, current on immunizations and microchipped.
He is living with us and our two old Aussie females in the Houston, Texas area. He is house broken, leash trained, good with my old dogs and grandkids. He has not shown any aggression. He does the Aussie mouthing, but no biting. He has not shown interest in my chickens, but I keep him on leash when around them. No food aggression. No counter surfing. He is shy and a little skittish about new things, which I would expect from living on the streets. I took him to my vet's office to get microchipped and he let them examine him after they let him sniff and check them out.
I have a fenced in pasture and he likes going out there and getting rid of his zoomies. Otherwise, I just take him out on a retractable leash in my front yard. He will go into our large kennel, but I think he prefers to be loose. He sleeps on the floor in our bedroom. I really can't understand why someone would dump this sweet boy, but like they say, ones mans trash is another mans treasure. Are you the perfect fit for this amazing dog?
Here is our application:https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application
There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
