My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Red! I'm a handsome and sweet red Doberboy. I'm about 2 years old. I was found dumped in the middle of the desert 7 miles out from civilization; I was terrified (do you blame me?) so animal control officers had to chase me up a hill, tranquilize me, and carry me back down the hill to safety! I spent some time in a very small rural shelter before I was rescued by Bella and Sunshine Rescue.
I was a favorite among the shelter staff. Once I trust you (it doesn't take long), I'll be your best friend and protector! I like hooman females; it takes me a little longer to warm up to human men, but my favorite hooman is my foster dad!
I get along fine with most other dogs, but because I do resource-guard my food, I will need to be fed separately.
Kids age 12+ ok.
