Meet Lava, a special cat with a grumpy face but a heart full of love. Lava is mostly blind, but once she feels safe, she loves to be around her people and craves human interaction. She loves to roll around and get belly rubs.

Lava is looking for a peaceful and stable environment, with patient owners who will give her time to adapt and decompress to her new home.

Her journey hasn't been easy. She was an indoor/outdoor cat who had a very stressful pregnancy, preventing her from taking care of her kittens. Thankfully, the kittens are okay! They were lovingly bottle-fed and taken care of.

She loves to play, especially with toys that make sounds—crinkle toys, rattle toys, or catnip-filled treasures capture her attention and bring out her inner kitten.

Lava gets along well with friendly cats, and she's surprisingly great with small, friendly dogs. However, due to her tendency for stress and limited eyesight, a home without young children would be the best fit for her. If you're seeking a loving companion who appreciates your care and affection, Lava is ready to brighten your life.

Lava is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FELV tested negative, and up-to-date on vaccinations.
