My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fiona is 3.5 year old pittie mix and weighs 50 pounds. She is incredibly kid & baby friendly, but not a fan of cats.

Ideal home environment: She is incredible with kids, & lived in a foster home with a 1.5 year old and a 4 year old, and was gentle & loving with them. She has been around large groups of kids at family parties, & soaked up all of the attention from all of the children. She would thrive as an only dog, as she adores human attention & love, or could live with another respectful dog with slow/proper/controlled introductions.

Opportunities for improvement: Fiona would benefit from training on how to focus attention on her handler or away from other dogs when she encounters them on walks. She currently walks with a gentle leader and is an excellent walking buddy, aside from her excitement when she sees other dogs. She is medium energy, so she would do very well with two decent walks a day and some romps in a yard. Fiona also loves hiking & loves sniffy walks.

Fun facts: Fiona is excellent with kids. She is gentle & wants to be loved. She has the cutest snore when she sleeps too. Aside from the occasional peep of a snore, sleeps soundly & without accidents throughout the night. She was left uncrated when her foster family left the house. She loves to chew on bones, but will not grab kid's toys and chew on things she shouldn't.
