Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beagle Mix. Born in the shelter shortly after their extremely pregnant mother was rescued. They are wonderful group of pups. They were a pleasure to watch as they grew older. Dottie is the smaller sister to Champ aka D.J. and is the last one to be adopted for the first time since being born. Dottie craves attention from her handlers, and we know she needs a home where she will be loved and cared for like she is at HSAC. This girl is so sweet, it will melt your heart. She cries in her kennel because she is tired of being in there. She knows there is something better out there. Dottie does great with cats, dogs, and children. She would like to have a home with a big backyard to call her own.If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
