Balto is a big, beautiful boy who is looking for a home. Balto is with our sister rescue in Louisiana hoping to come to NJ on our next transport. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial for dogs and cats located in Louisiana with a partner rescue.
Balto is described as calm but playful. Balto loves to play and run with other dogs. Balto was found running as a stray and no one came to claim him. He is hoping someone can see past his big head and see his big loving heart.
Balto is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Balto tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee is $450.
Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
