My story

Prince is a very handsome young man and is such a sweetheart of a cat! Prince has become very friendly while in our care and he is easily held and cuddled with as you can see from his photos! He has been in our care since he was only about 8 weeks old and was a kitten in the spring of 2023 so he is still a young cat! His sisters were all adopted within 2 weeks of coming here because they had very fancy markings but poor Prince has had a hard time getting adopted because he is black... did you know that black cats are statistically less likely to be adopted? This is of course through no fault of their own. Prince has aged out of the kitten room and is now an adult cat... still here with us waiting to be adopted! We think that it is important that you know that "you don't have to be rich to be his girl, you don't have to be cool to rule his world, ain't no particular sign he's more compatible with, he just wants your extra time and your KISS!" Prince is very sweet and is great with other cats and kittens. He was introduced to a large, cat-friendly dog while here at the rescue and did fine once given an appropriate amount of time to adjust. As is usually the case, it would be a benefit for him to go to a home that has another feline companion for company! Prince will have been neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV/HW tested negative, and microchipped at his time of adoption!
