Sanjaya is a sweet and friendly soul who is ready to make someone a really great friend! She has an average energy level. She can be playful, but once she’s gotten some energy out she settles down and is pretty calm and relaxed. She loves getting attention from her people, but she can also keep herself amused. Sanjaya listens well and comes when called. She also already knows how to sit on command! She’s a lady on the leash, and only pulls a little when she’s very excited. She gets most excited when attending in shelter playgroups with other dogs, and is always ready to make new friends.

Our regular adoption fee is $100 payable by money order or credit card. The fee covers basic vaccinations, Rabies vaccination, microchip, heart worm testing for dogs, and the spay/neuter surgery.
You will be required to sign to an adoption contract and other paperwork relating to the adoption of your new family member.

Our kennel hours are Monday-Friday 10 am to 4 pm and Wednesday also from 5 pm to 7 pm. We are open Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm and closed on Sunday.

We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.
We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.
The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.
We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.
We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.
