My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kenzie is 6 years old and she is a full bread Akita. She is the sweetest/most gentle dog and we’ve had her in our home since she was born. We have always had two dogs in our home and she is the alpha. She hasn’t really been around large dogs, but I’m sure she’d do great!

I would love to keep her but we had twins a year ago and have not been able to spend time with her as we’d like. She’s also great around our girls but she’s a large dog, so she might be better with a family with older kids or a family with no kids.

She does great outside & loves to run around. She is leash trained but not trained off leash.


If you love a big, cuddly, mild tempered, dog, Kenzie is an amazing option.
