Jodi is a calm and observant Amazon looking for a loving home. She loves apples for a treat. Her favorite toys can be shredded, including cardboard and wooden chews. While she came to the rescue fearful, she has since gained trust in humans, and she is even learning how to step up. She has some suspected vision loss so she will need some accommodations to feel safe. During the day she loves watching TV, whistling happily, and taking baths. If you think you can win Jodi’s heart, then apply to adopt her today! Must be adopted into a home with no shared walls. Large bird experience required. Adoption fee: $200.

We will review your application, and perform a background check, vet check and when applicable, a landlord check.

For most species, a meeting is required. For some species, multiple meetings may be needed or required.

Sign Adoption Contract

Once approved, sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.

Take the Pet Home

Whether interested in adopting a particular bird or not, you will need to fill out an Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. From there, our adoption team will process your application (including background check, veterinarian check for all current animals, and a home visit)
We will not ship any of our adoptable birds, and have a 100-mile adoption radius. We do not adopt to breeders. We are not able to adopt birds into homes that use Teflon product or smoke due to toxicity dangers.
