My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This pretty lady (estimated birth Oct 2017) is at the shelter waiting for YOU.  She is ready to go to her forever home.  She'll make a wonderful companion.  To make an appointment to meet her, please email felinecaninefriends80@gmail.com.

Tippy arrived at the shelter October, 2021.  Initially she was extremely scared and we thought she might be too feral for adoption. But our volunteers didn’t give up on her, and with lots of love and patience, she’s ready to find her forever home.

We are guesstimating Tippy’s birthdate to be around October, 2012 making her 11 years old, but this perky Tortoiseshell (a coloring resembling a tortoiseshell pattern) doesn’t know she’s approaching middle-age! She enjoys playing with her feline roommates, loves people and attention, and likes to cuddle on her terms—meaning she’s not fond of being picked up, but will join you on the couch, binging your favorite cat episodes on Animal Planet!

Tippy would do best in a home with older children or only adults, where she has plenty of windows to enjoy watching the birds fly by.

She is up-to-date on all vaccines, is spayed, and microchipped.

If you think Tippy is that mellow feline you’ve been looking for, contact Lynn Hassett at 608-345-8713, email felinecaninefriends80@gmail.com, or message us on Facebook.

More about this rescue

Feline/Canine Friends (F/CF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. F/CF rescues, rehabilitates, re-homes and provides sanctuary for many cats including special-needs cats. Many of our special needs cats have FIV or FeLV; plus we have many ferals who have been given a new home and a new life.

We are an all-volunteer group dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals and educating people on the importance of spaying and neutering to control the pet population.
