My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The three L sisters were born on an acreage to a stray mamma cat. Sadly, they were the only survivors as the rest of the family members were hit by cars on the nearby road. Since the town that they were living it started a cull program for stray kitties, the property owners lured the remaining siblings up into their enclosed porch and cared for them until they were able to get them contained and into SCAT’s care.

Having had little human interaction throughout their first 8 months of life, these girls are slowly settling into their new environment. They love their toys and love interacting with other kitties, but aren’t so sure about humans yet. They are very sweet and not aggressive at all, they just need some time to learn that they are safe with us. We are making progress every day and it is only a matter of time before they become snuggly house kitties.

More about this rescue

Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
