Meet Chowder! This handsome boy was turned in to the shelter to be euthanized by his owner because he was old and 'sick." Turns out, he just needed some antibiotics and nutritious food! He is now feeling great and everyone who meets him absolutely falls in love! Chowder is over-the-top friendly with everyone he meets - like he's meeting his fans - it's so endearing and funny! Asked to describe him, things like "mush, loveball, and goofball!" Chowder is a big napper and loves belly rubs and a good nap! He loves hanging out with his foster family and resting his head on you while you work or watch TV. He is so gentle and kind. He is super smart and even barks by the door when he needs to go potty! The only thing that moves fast on this senior is his tail - always wagging! Chowder's spirit animal? Dumbo - on account of his big floppy ears and even bigger heart! Chowder would love a family who is home more often than gone and having a gentle, calm dog buddy in the home would be fantastic!
