Here's what the humans have to say about me:
TIGGER – Min-Pin Mix / 5 years / 15 kg / M-Neutered
Even after being bullied by street dogs, brave Tigger kept his cheerful, kind and optimistic personality !
Tigger has discovered many things that make him happy in the home. He has many favourite toys, going from squeaky blue ones to bright yellow balls. He is fond of people, and he gets the biggest smile and tail wags when meeting someone new. He enjoys laying down on his bed in his downtime but, being a cuddle bud, he does prefer to lay on your lap with his favourite toy. He enjoys playing with his canine foster brother and likes to follow in his footsteps too.
Little Tigger is so eager to learn, that he will do tricks to please, to get treats or even just for toys. He is crate trained, house-trained and knows a couple basic commands. He enjoys going on walks, but can get nervous when seeing other dogs as he wonders if they are kind like his foster brother or mean like the bullies from his past. But, he continues to make progress and this is something we would love to see his future family work on!
For his future home, Tigger will want to be in a quiet home with older kids or no kids preferred. He will want a secure yard and a canine pal to show him the ropes. We do want to see him in a cat free home, as he seems to think they are in for a game of chase.
If you are keen on applying for our little Tigger, please check out the adoption process and application at www.dibsrescue.com. His adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply. (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/ ).
