The foster writes : Pepper is a loving, loyal pup in search of her forever family. She enjoys lazy days chilling inside as well as adventuring in nature. Pepper is completely housebroken (potty trained and does not destroy things). However, she does love playing with her toys! Pepper also loves food and learning new things for treats. But what Pepper loves most is napping on the couch next to her person!
Pepper is currently being fostered in a busy neighborhood in Queens, but would much prefer a quieter setting. Pepper needs to be the only pet in the home. Other dogs make Pepper nervous. Her foster has been working on this and Pepper is improving with redirecting her attention back to her handler. She also knows basic commands and is food motivated/ eager to learn. Once she knows the routine, she is okay with staying home alone as long as she knows you will be back in time to give her dinner!
Pepper loves her people but likes slow introductions to strangers. Once she feels comfortable with a person, she is the most loving and loyal pup and enjoys belly rubs and ear scratches. Since entering ACC, she has lived in 3 different foster homes and has adored all of her fosters but desperately wants a forever family! Primary Color: Brown Brindle Weight: 45 Age: 9yrs 9mths 0wks
