AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ADOPTION!

Piggy talks with his eyes. There's no question about it. This boy will run over to you, and if you just look at him, he'll paw at you and meow. He just gazes at you with his blinking blue eyes and is a little gentleman! He always wants attention and will follow you around everywhere. He is also a lap kitty and has a very calm and sweet temperament. His brother is Ozzy, and although they don't have to go together, that would be amazing if they could!

Piggy is neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines.

Also, quite common with Persian mixes, Piggy might have occasional staining, irritants, and tearing due to his smooshed face, so his new family needs to be prepared to clean his eyes as needed.

We encourage you to go ahead and submit your application if you are interested in adopting Piggy. Piggy arrived on April 30th with three other cats from Egypt, and after being fully vetted he is now available for pre-adoption and open for visits.

Piggy will be fully vetted and healthy by the time he is adoptable, but he has been through so much stress and transition so we cannot guarantee future health with him for this reason. Also, his specific breed (Persian mix) are sometimes more prone to issues and can be high maintenance. To be considered for Jenny, Piggy or Ozzy, you must have experience with long haired cats (preferably Persian type breeds) and familiar with the extra care (grooming, eye/face cleaning, etc.) they might need.
