My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duke is a 5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog in need of a loving and patient person to adopt him. This dog knows his basic commands and in his core is loving and sweet. Although Duke does come with some challenges which would need a more experienced adopter. Most of the time Duke is gentle and loves affection, other times he randomly switches. Does not want anyone near him and can express this with growling. He is also a dog that does not like to be approached unless he has a chance to sniff you out first. Although Duke can be grumpy and doesn't care much when strangers approach, he has a big heart. Mostly just likes to play, sleep, eat and get all the affection he can. If you are someone who is patient and understanding that would be willing to put in whatever is necessary to allow this dog to reach his full potential then Duke is the dog for you.
