Dex is looking for a long-term foster or foster-to-adopt - or forever - home.

He came to us with another dog - Victory - but we have discovered that although they love each other, they don't need to be together - they are not bonded.

He likes other dogs and would be fine living with slightly older children - 10 years old or older. He's an enthusiastic guy and could knock over little ones without meaning to. We do not know how he would be with cats

Dex has seen the vet and is up to date with all vaccines and tests. He has tested negative for heartworm, tick-borne illnesses, and parasites. He is already neutered.

He is a black lab mix about 5 years old, Dex has your typical lab happy-go-lucky, enthusiastic personality. He is happy, loving dog and will fit into a home easily.
