My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HISTORY: Desa was allegedly dumped as a puppy at her previous owners' property two and half years ago. In August 2022, Desa had a litter of puppies. Unfortunately, Desa's owner didn't properly feed Desa or her puppies and occasionally threw table scraps out the front door for them to eat. The amount of food provided was insufficient, and poor Desa and her litter of puppies were starving, ultimately leaving Desa to venture out for more food.

On March 5th 2023, Desa's owner voluntarily surrendered her to Red Waggin’ Rescue. When Red Waggin’ arrived to rescue Desa, she growled at our approach. The dog owner took a slip lead and forced her out and into a crate. She was transported directly to our vet, where she was spayed the next day.

Since being rescued, Desa has made big strides in her recovery. Desa is in NEED of a Foster or Adoptive Family to help her recover and learn how to love & be loved!
