I'm a 2-year-old white pit bull mix with a big heart and a lot of personality. I was rescued by Operation Save a Shelter Dog from the euthanasia list at Memphis Animal Services. I'm so grateful for my second chance and I can't wait to find a forever home with a family that can be as fun and playful as I am.
I'm a great companion who will greet you with my whole-body wiggling and give you some slobbery kisses. I'm very patient and well-behaved, and I love to go for car rides and outings. I used to be rather anxious but am relaxing well and coming out of my shell now that I have been able to decompress away from the shelter. I am also working on my potty-training skills and becoming an all around amazing boy!
I'm not fazed by anything, whether it's bicycles, hikers, runners, or families with children. I'm a curious and friendly boy who likes to sniff around and say hello to other doggies. I don't bark at them I just perk up my ears and try to make friends. I love treats and I'm very gentle at taking them. I'm also easy to handle, even though I'm a bigger boy. I weigh 56 pounds, but I'm a gentle giant. I always check in with my people during walks and I'm good with children and other dogs. I am ideal for older children due to my size and tendency to jump when excited. I haven't been cat tested yet, but I can be if you'd like.
I will need to live in an apartment or home with a 6’ fence as I tend to jump the fence. I don’t go anywhere if I do get over the fence. But apparently my Olympic talent is jumping shorter fences and hanging out on the other side.
I'm a social and playful boy who has a rough and rowdy play style. I enjoy playing with balls and other toys, and I'm always up for some fun. I'm being fostered in Colonial Heights, VA, but I can be transported out of state for the right home. You must be 21 or older to apply.
If you're looking for a loyal, sweet, and fun-loving companion, I'm your boy. What’s not to love about me? Fill out an application and my rescue will follow up with you.
