Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Riley is an 8 month old girl that is approximately 50lbs.
We are not sure of her breed, but think she may possibly be a Shepherd/Kelpie cross. She is slender with beautiful markings, cute eyebrows and big ears!
She was recently rescued after spending 3.5 months of her short life in a shelter.
In spite of this, Riley is a happy, sweet girl whose tail is always wagging. She loves other dogs and is currently being fostered with two dogs both of whom she gets along great with. She loves to play, and has met a wide variety of dogs on her daily walks with zero issues.
Riley learns quickly, and in a few short days has learned how to sit, lay down, and to wait until being invited through doors or to unload from the car. She takes treats gently, is crate trained and rides well in the car. She is learning to walk on leash and is really good at not pulling.
Although she is more of a medium energy dog and is not hyper, she is still a puppy and has puppy energy, so needs regular exercise. She also seems to really love the water.
Riley is an affectionate girl and likes people. She is very sweet and gentle. She is not a barker and jumps readily into the vehicle to go to the park.
She would do better in a home with no little kids as she can be enthusiastic at times and could knock them over. Teenagers or young adults would be fine.
We haven't tested her with cats but with a little work she would probably be fine.
She is a fabulous dog and would make a great companion!
