I think Taylor Swift wrote the song “ME” about me…. Magnolia. Of course, she had to change it up so no one knows it’s about me. Besides the line “I promise you’ll never find another like me”, I’ll clue you in.
“I know I’m a handful baby….”
Coming in at almost 5 years old and weighing only 20lbs, I may be tiny but that doesn’t stop be from being a big goofball. I have a huge personality. I get the zoomies and run around in excitement when it’s dinner time, or when I see you come in or with a new toy. I can’t control my excitement and I start hopping around like a bunny. I do a trick called frog legs. Check out my videos to see me in action.
“And trouble follows me where I go…”
Well, that’s the truth. I’m so smart that if I get bored, look out. I will be on a mission to pull the bathmat, shower curtain, shoes and climb in the laundry basket for socks. I have no fear of anything and will do everything I can to get what I want. I’m not afraid of the vacuum, nope not even that.
“I never leave well enough alone and tend to make it about me….”
I guess that goes hand and hand with trouble follows me. I’m still learning my manners. I like to pull on your sweatshirt strings, or your pants for attention. I love getting as much attention from you no matter the time. I tend to be extremely playful at night and want you to get up. I will run around squeaking my toys and tossing them in the air. A nighttime circus juggling act. When you tell me to go to sleep, I will give you my brown pitiful eyes and sad face. I win with my foster mom even when she tells me no. lol!
Yes, I have a lot of energy and can be a handful, but I’m learning how to snuggle. I will sit or lay on your lap and stay put just as long as you pet me.
“I know you will never get what you see….”
I’m still not fully potty trained so you will have to watch me. I move like a ninja, and you might find me peeing on the floor. Or you may find it and I disappear. I feel bad that I do it, but I never learned until now what a house is. I came from a place that use me for commercial breeding. I must say I’m learning it quickly, but you will have to still work with me. My ninja skills come in to play when you think I’m not behind you but I am. One minute I will be chewing my bone and the next, I will be right next to you. Be careful, don’t want you to trip.
“I never wanna see you walk away….”
I like to keep my eyes on you at all times. Not sure if you are getting me a treat, food, toy or just walking away. I will sit on my perch at the top of the stairs and watch every move you make. Shower privacy nope, I will peek my head in there to make sure you didn’t disappear.
I also want to add, that I am good with other dogs! Taylor didn’t sing about this, but I am. I’m shy at first, but I would be okay with a dog sibling.
Now you know why this song was a hit. It describes me perfectly.
Why do you want just a normal easy-going lady when you can have fun playful keep you on your toes type of girl???? I promise that you will never find another Frenchie like me-e-e.
