My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sage is a friendly and smart dog who is athletic and loves giving kisses. He is a well-rounded dog who enjoys playtime, as well as lazy days in front of the TV. Sage is intelligent and eager to please, so he is always ready to learn new tricks. He is good with most dogs, especially those who don't want to be "top dog". He is an adult dog with a lot of love and affection to give, and he is ready for his forever home. Sage is curious about people he doesn't know and for this reason he makes a loyal companion.

Indigo's Rescue Ranch is located near Medora, Indiana (Jackson County). We are located approximately 1 hour south of Indianapolis and 1 hour north of Louisville, Kentucky.

More about this rescue

Indigos Rescue Ranch and Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide care, shelter, fostering opportunities and adoptive homes for Jackson County’s homeless dogs until such time as we can find them a suitable “forever home.” Regardless of breed, size or age, we accept dogs into our shelter and ensure they have safe and happy lives while we seek suitable homes for them. We believe so strongly in our mission, that where hard to place dogs are concerned (e.g., older, disabled or special needs dogs), Indigo’s becomes their forever home so they may live out their lives with the love, care, and attention they deserve.
