This sweet little pup is approx 5 months old as of July 1st and and 21 lbs, he will probably be in the 40 to 50 lb range when fully grown
We are not sure of his breed mix but just a cute little terrier
He loves to run and play and will need a fully fenced in and secure yard
He is not fully house or leash trained yet but is very smart and learning fast, he has a sweet personality and loves to sit on your lap, he gets along with all
Of the other rescues and will play with anyone big or small ,he would do well as an only dog or with others and would be a great dog to take hiking or to the dog park
OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only and no children under that age of 8 years.
WE REQUIRE AT LEAST TWO YEARS OF VET RECORDS ON YOUR CURRENT OR PAST DOG FOR OUR REVIEW. RECORDS MUST SHOW THE POTENTIAL ADOPTER AS THE OWNER
The total adoption fee of $500 ( and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at

We work tirelessly to find the right homes with people who will love their pets for a lifetime. We do this through email, phone, and any other means of communication to ensure a good fit.
