Maylee is one of our longest residents and she has been waiting MONTHS for someone to give her a chance. She is about to spend another birthday (her 2nd!) this Summer at the rescue. Maylee was born on 7/18/22 and is a mixed breed. Her ideal home would have a single occupant/minimal occupants and be ADULT ONLY (no exceptions).
Maylee is a smart, quirky, fun loving, high energy girl looking for humans that will give her a minute to settle in and trust them. She is guarded at first but if you give her the time and space to get to know you, she will light up your world. She knows many commands, loves to play fetch, and walks nicely on a leash (after the initial excitement of getting out of her kennel). She has so much love to give and we promised her that we wouldn’t ever give up until she finds the forever home she deserves. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed.

HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and full out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.
2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord.
3. We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets.

Helpful reminders:
*We do not do same day adoptions.
*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in.
*We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
