My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, fellow feline enthusiasts! I'm Bayonet, the whisker-wielding wonder with a passion for parkour and a flair for the fur-tastically funny! Picture this: I'm leaping from couch to countertop, scaling bookshelves with the grace of a gazelle, and turning every room into my own personal playground. Yep, that's me in a nutshell – a whirlwind of whiskers and wacky antics! But don't let my wild side fool you; beneath this fur-coated daredevil exterior lies a heart as soft as a freshly laundered blanket. I'm all about those cozy cuddle sessions and affectionate head boops that melt even the toughest of hearts. Now, let's talk toys – specifically those delightful little hex bugs. Oh, how I adore them! They're like tiny, buzzing treasures just waiting to be pounced upon. You'll often find me chasing them with the enthusiasm of a kitten on catnip, bringing joy to all who witness my playful antics. So, if you're in need of a furry friend who's equal parts adventurous and affectionate, look no further! Together, we'll navigate the highs and lows of cat life, making memories and mischief along the way. Let's embark on this whisker-filled journey together – because with me, every day is a cat-tastic adventure!

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
