Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Greetings friends! My name is Alfie, and I am a fabulous 5-month-old Australian Shepherd/Rough Collie pup. My foster dad calls me a shining star that’s looking for his next adventure in life. I started off small, only 3 lbs. at 7 weeks old when I was rescued with my
siblings. I am now around 25 – 30 lbs. and growing. I am very food motivated, especially by a can of spray cheese.
The past few months in my foster home have been awesome. I have learned how to be a dog
from my two older foster siblings. I am your typical, happy go lucky puppy. I stick my nose into everything and wiggle my butt when I’m happy. I just can’t help being curious and excited to see what is happening. I absolutely adore my older foster sister and am inseparable from her. I really want a doggy playmate in my furever home! I play all day to burn that puppy energy. I am a bit mouthy at times when being petted. I am gentle though and just want to show my affection for you.
Ideally, I am looking for a furever owner that will do a lot of activities and training with me as well as worship the ground I walk on. I’m “just a baby” so I cannot be left home alone all day while my human goes to work.
I get along great with other dogs, have been exposed to cats and have been around kids enough to know what they are. I love playing tug of war with my foster dad and foster siblings. I am still learning to walk well on leash but do much better when another dog is with me.
I am being fostered in Richmond, VA. Are you the human I’ve been looking for?
