Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Bonita! (And I am *very* bonita, if I do say so myself.) I am a polydactyl kitty, which means I have an extra toe on one of my paws … and it also makes me quite special. I am a shy girl, and will need someone patient — someone who will work with me, and give me the time and space to learn to trust and become my best self. I'll just say it ... I was abandoned. It hurts to say that, but I was ... so trust is something I really need to work on. But I'm willing to put in the work if you are!

As animal lovers, we have dreamt of creating a non-for-profit rescue 501(c)3 organization in which we could place cats into forever homes with the utmost loving families. Our mission is simple: rescue, shelter, and rehome cats in need.
Our goal is to provide a cage-free and no kill shelter environment for the kittens and cats waiting to be placed. Our area of focus is in McHenry County, Illinois.
