My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mouse and his friend, Blackjack, were caught by a rescuer after being fed and observed outdoors for many months by a concerned citizen.

At Broken Tail Rescue, they both received necessary vet care and haircuts to address their severely matted fur. They've been decompressing in a foster home and are coming around to appreciating human affection.

Mouse is a big boy with the tiniest, squeakiest meow you've ever head. He LOVES catnip and naps. It takes him a bit of time to settle in, but once he does, he'll relish all the head scratches he can get.

It's likely Mouse would prefer to live in a home without dogs or children, but we think he could live with another cat with a proper introduction (or his friend, Blackjack!).
