Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our Onyx was only a year old and feral when she was trapped by the police. Her hair stood on end when you approached. We spent a lot of time earning her trust while she was in the pound and moved her to the rescue as quickly as we could. Our poor scared girl was heartworm positive so we got to work on her physical and emotional health.
Fast forward two years and our girl has made huge strides. She adores her out and about person and is overcoming her fears of strange people and situations. She is still very alert and cautious.
Onyx is crate trained, an excellent guard girl, and so loving. I hope she doesn't have to spend a third year here.
