My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Amara! This super mom of 11 pups transferred to us from the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility.
Amara is a very sweet and relaxed gal with a fun and bouncy playful side! With her pups in tow, she loves to give toys a good shake and won't say no to a good game of tug of war!
Amara has made sure her pups were well cared for every step of the way, now it's time to take care of Amara! This gentle gal is ready to retire from mom life and deserves to just be a dog again!

Additional Note: First photo was taken with her healthy, recovered body. Second photo taken when Amara was emaciated and still lactating.

Regarding COVID-19 and other contagious illnesses: Please reschedule any visits if you are sick.

More about this rescue

We are a private, specialized, no-kill, 501(c)(3) dog rescue dedicated to providing housing & individualized care to dogs of all breeds.
We cater to their respective temperaments and adopt them into well-matched homes.
Please note that we do not accept dogs from the public (unless they were adopted directly from our rescue) as we pull dogs from larger shelter partners.
