My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***Located in Houston, TX***
Available for transport.
Hi! Kona is an adorable puppy born with 7 other siblings. Mom who is pictured with them wandered into an apartment complex very pregnant and starving. The weather was getting cold and rainy but animal control told the people who lived in the apartments if any food or shelter was placed for her they would not come pick her up. Luckily we were able to make space in a foster home where she gave birth to 8 healthy pups 2 days later. She has been a wonderful mama dog with her pups. Kona is growing into a wonderful, sweet, loving and happy girl and is eager to find her forever home. She is one of the more shy and less outgoing of the litter so would do best in a home where she can go to training and have lots of socialization. Due to breed restrictions the puppies are not available to any rental situations and all applicants must have 5 years vet history with a previous pet. More about this rescue

We are small rescue group in Houston. Our group’s main focus is to provide proper vetting and housing until the animals find their forever homes. We do not have a facility we are foster home based. Houston has a huge pet overpopulation. We do not have mandatory spay and neuter laws and there are not enough homes for all the stray animals. Many of these animals are unfortunately euthanized at shelters, abused and neglected on the streets. If you are looking to adopt a new pet or would like to make a donation please consider our rescue.
