Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
When you think of rotini, you imagine a spiral shaped pasta. Let`s just say, Rotini`s name suits her well! Rotini is the biggest 1 year old goofball ever and she seems to never runs out of energy. She LOVES her chew toys and loves to play tug-a-war with her human. Eventually, she will settle down and nap at your feet. Then you will be thinking to yourself `finally!` She gets so excited when she sees you and will greet you with the biggest smile and whipping tail!
She is crate trained and has never barked once when put to bed. Going to bed isn`t where she wants to be but when persuaded with a treat, she will go right in! She is house broken as well and lets you know when she needs to go outside.
She is a little shy at first with other dogs but opens up in just a few days. She can be easily intimidated by others but never shows aggression back. She has also been around cats. She isn`t to sure what they are exactly and thinks they should be playing with her like the humans do. She may bark at them to tell them to play but that`s about it. She is more curious than anything.
Rotini would be a great addition to anyone`s home with older kids. She has a lot of energy and doesn`t quite understand her boundaries. Rotini would be okay as an only dog but she would get pretty bored. Having a brother or sister would help entertain her when the humans are not always available.
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
