My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Turtle, a sweet, goofy, handsome pup of 2 years weighing in at 55 lbs, who is on the hunt for his forever home! Turtle's journey began with his pup siblings named Rabbit and Squirrel. One day, the trio enjoyed a fun car ride with their former owner to visit a local dog park. They were so excited to be going to play and run. But then, they heard something. It was the sound of the car they knew and the owner they loved driving away without them. Suddenly alone, their happiness quickly turned into confusion and panic. But 11th Hour Rescue stepped in, bringing them to safety and helping them to find new and loving homes. Squirrel and Rabbit have been adopted while Turtle is still looking for his special place.

Turtle is house-trained and gets along with other dogs after a proper introduction. Turtle loves to play with toys and can keep you entertained with his antics! Despite his size, he enjoys pretending he is a lap pet because he loves being close to his people. He may be a bit shy initially, but don’t let that fool you—once he bonds with you, he’ll be your loyal shadow.

His adoption fee is $415. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, too. If you have the loving, furever home where Turtle can feel safe and cherished then please apply to adopt him at EHRdogs.org and be sure to ask for this sweet boy by name, TURTLE NJ!
