My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Courtesy post for Mike: Contact Mike at 410-372-7366 today to learn more about these amazing dogs and how you can bring them home.

Mike is having surgery and looking for new home for his 2 pitties as he will not be able to care for him after surgery and is also moving to a condo this summer where pitties are not allowed.

Looking for a loving and affectionate companion to add to your family?

Meet Daisy and Diesel, two non-bonded pitties who are as sweet as can be and just love to be loved on! These well-natured pups are a joy to be around and love making new friends, whether it's other dogs at the pet store or their humans at home.

Daisy is a 6.5-year-old pittie who weighs 45 pounds, while Diesel is 5.5 years old and weighs 35 pounds. Although they are half-siblings, we believe that separate homes would be best for these two lovable dogs.

Both Daisy and Diesel are crate trained and ready to find their forever homes. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion who will always be by your side, look no further than these two wonderful pitties.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to give Daisy and Diesel the love and care they deserve. Contact Mike at 410-372-7366 today to learn more about these amazing dogs and how you can bring them home.

Go meet their pets

We are a rescue that is dependent on volunteers as we do not have a physical building. We rent space at a kennel in Upperco, Md. If you would like to meet one of our dogs please contact us to make arrangements. Thanks!

More about this rescue

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Please help us help the animals!
