When Lillian came to Pet Refuge, she was very scared of everyone and was wary of being approached. Once she realized she was safe, she opened up into a very sweet girl who loves to see the volunteers enter her room. She is a patient gal waiting for attention, and as soon as she knows it is her turn, she pounces with excitement. She enjoys being on your shoulders and held once she trusts you. She is a calm curious gal who will steal your heart.

Pet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. We are a limited admission shelter that supports our local animals control facilities by helping take in the overflow of cats and dogs from their facilities. We also take in owner surrenders as space allows.
