Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is bear (named so because I look like a little black bear!). I am a 4-5 month old herding "mutt" (cattle dog, Aussie, border collie and a few other things). I was picked up with my brother (Bandit) on Eastern Utah reservation-- tiny, starved and scared. Luckily we found rescue with Herding Haven and have gained weight and confidence. I am a playful pup. If I don't have another dog to play with I will entertain myself with a toy. I love to toss the toy in the air and catch it (I may have a future in baseball). My ideal home would be a with an active family who will walk me daily and take me on fun outdoor adventures on the weekend. Because of my herding dog tendencies, I would not be a good fit for a home with toddlers. Older (> 10 yr) dog savvy kids would be OK. I am crate-trained, 90% housebroken and learning to walk on a leash. I am up-to-date on my vaccinations and will come with a neuter discount. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact kathie@herdinghaven.org
