My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DESMOND (Dessie) is a 4 year old, 5-lbs pure-bred AKC neutered male Yorkie. He was surrendered to our rescue after his family lost their jobs, home and vehicles due to the economy. Dessie gets along with other dogs of his same size, is tolerant of cats (they are bigger than him) and is very loving to his Pet Parent. He is not a yapper, which this breed is famous for and is very smart.

Even though Dessie is living in a foster home with other dogs, he does not have very good doggie social skills so he would do best by being an only dog. Very loving he will easily bond with a Pet Parent given a chance. Dessie has come a long way but will do best with someone who can give love but also give him firm boundaries in which to live, otherwise he will turn in to a little brat.
