Meet Bamboo! She's a super sweet and chill girl with a quiet, very sweet personality. This 1 year old Shar Pei girl is the perfect addition to any family that loves adventure and playtime, and snuggles. She loves playing with any dog she meets. She is slightly dominant towards other dogs but redirects easily. She has the cutest wiggle butt and smile! She is working on potty training and is just a very smart girl.
This sweet girls life started with her Shar Pei family with a wonderful owner in TX the owner was brutally murdered not so long ago and his family members took in the Shar Pei family. Unfortunately , they had 2 German Shepherds who attacked Bitsy, Bamboos mom, and they all had to be rehomed or end up in a high kill shelter. Twilight Tails Rescue took them in because they were incredibly well mannered and sweet and loving. Duncan and Bitsy and Bambooare now up for adoption and can be adopted separately.
Bamboo is an all around sweetheart who gets along with everyone she has met so far and loves to cuddle. if you sit on the ground with her and invite her over, she will curl up on your lap. Bamboo loves people! She joined her foster 2 days agoand gets along with everyone, both big and small dogs. She is living with 9 dogs at her foster home.
She likes attention and likes to play and enjoys time outside. She is ready for her forever home. She bonds very quickly. You can tell that she was loved and treasured prior to her owners passing.
She weighs about 45 pounds Bamboo is housetrained, spayed, heartworm negative, and UTD on shots. She is being fostered in TX can be adopted in TX or we can arrange transport and have her brought to IL/WI on rescue transportwhich brings dogs up twice a month
