Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Murphie has been with ABARS for just over a month and we know so much about this wonderful girl! For the basics, she is house-trained and crate-trained. She knew sit and could walk on a leash when she arrived. She is food motivated and has learned crate, off, come (a short distance), down, no, wait (prior to eating, she will wait with until the release command free is given), and is learning heel on her walks. She is now able to walk one mile, two times a day. Fast walking is not her speed, she likes a leisurely stroll.
She loves to play with the well-balanced male mastiff in the house. They will play tug of war and chase each other for toys. She will fetch a Kong Wubba toy and bring it back many times. She likes lounging outside in the sun. She also likes to lie on her back on a slight hill and jellybean her body from side to side. The result is she slides down the hill on her back…So cute to watch! When play time is over, she will nap like a champ. Her crate or a dog bed is great with her. If she is allowed, the furniture will be great too! (After getting caught three times and given a firm “no!”, she no longer gets on furniture). Cats are an unknown as she has never been around them.
She is as cute as they come! Her gorgeous dark brown/black face is full of folds and has jowls for days! She is a compact 100 lbs. She has gained some muscle mass and is filling out nicely. Another 5 lbs. and she will be at her healthy weight. After a couple of showers and combing, her coat is looking better, and her diffuse brindling can now be seen. Everyone who has met her comments on how sweet and cute she is!
