Indio is a sweet & dapper older gentleman who is looking for a calm and cozy home to call his own. He was brought into our care earlier this year and while we do not know much of his backstory, we know that he is a grateful boy who has really come out of his shell.

This lowkey fella would be a great companion to someone who is looking for a kitty that can be both independent and attached to his human. Snoozin’ is at the top of his list but he can also be found following you around for some extra snacks or just some chin scritches! Indio is affectionate and enjoys cozying up in bed with you, getting every little bit closer to get to you for those extra pets which will be rewarded by some wonderful purrs.

He just received a dental and is in pretty good health for a senior kitty! Please note that while this silly boy is a gentle and calm soul, he can be very vocal at times and we’re not entirely sure why. Yes, that means that you may occasionally get startled at night wondering whose alarm is going off… that’s just Indio being Indio.

While he can warm up rather quickly to visitors, his senior age means that he takes a bit longer to settle into a home and feel comfortable which is easy to understand. We know that he’s totally worth the time and patience because waking up to this sweet face is quite the treat! Indio can fly as a solo but can easily coexist with another kitty.
