Hi, my name is Pepper! And I'm up for adoption in Texas.

I’m a smart spunky three month old, 22 pound lovebug that likes to play hard and sleep hard. My foster home has two teenage kids, two big dogs and two cats. I love chasing the big dogs around the yard, but I'm also respectful. I also play with the younger kitty a lot, but sometimes get a little too crazy for him. The old cat doesn’t like to play, so I leave her alone.

I like people, but I really want to have that one special person that I always sit on the couch with. My foster mom says I’m the best cuddler and we love to nap together. I’m doing great learning to potty outside. I pick up commands super quickly, especially if there’s a yummy treat involved! I really like going on walks. The car is still a little scary, but if I’m with my special person, I’m brave enough to try anything!!

My ideal home has another dog to play with and kids over 16 years old. I can get a bit rough with younger kids -- I'm just a puppy.

Speaking of puppies, I would love to enroll in a positive reinforcement puppy training class with other pals my age and learn all my manners and how to behave. I hear it's really fun and since my rescue requires it, we'll be in it together!
