Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sophie is a very pretty and smart girl. She is very curious and wants to know everything that is happening around her. She can win a prize for leash walking. She does not pull and walks at your pace with a harness. Sophie also loves car rides.
She does not resource guard and is house and crate trained. She will vocalize at the door when she wants out. Sophie lived with children in her previous home.
Because she is young Sophie does need regular daily walks. Think of her as your exercise buddy as you help each other stay healthy this Spring and Summer. Sophie can be vocal. Her range includes a big bark and "Woo Woo" sound that is pretty unique. Sophie is affectionate and seems to have a lot of empathy towards how people are feeling, once you have gained her trust.
She will be happiest being your one and only dog. Sophie does not need another dog. She would like to be friends with dogs, but has problems living with some dogs. She can pass dogs on a walk. If you give her some space she is just fine. Sophie is not a candidate for Doggy Day Care or Dog Parks. I do believe that with the right family and some training, she can learn to enjoy more interaction with dogs.
Sophie had a large fenced yard in her previous home. I would like her to have that in her forever home so she can spend time off leash exploring your environment. She will be great at chasing off any pesky rabbits or squirrels. This gives her a job to do but also means she should not live with cats.
Sophie needs an experienced owner. She has had a couple of altercations with dogs. This is something we can discuss. A family who value the benefit of basic obedience training will help Sophie be a great family dog. We are looking for a family to provide a safe environment with stability and mutual trust.
