Hello, World- Meet Jazzy!

Jazzy is a fun, vibrant, and energetic 1.5-year-old pitbull mix who is ready to bring joy, love, and plenty of excitement to your life! She’s an affectionate and people-loving girl who thrives in a social environment and is always up for an adventure. Whether it`s playing fetch, running around in a yard, or just spending time with her favorite humans, Jazzy is always full of enthusiasm and fun.
This sweet girl also loves the company of other dogs and enjoys playing with them in an active, friendly manner. However, due to her high energy, Jazzy would do best in a home without cats or small children, as she might unintentionally overwhelm them with her exuberance.
Jazzy is still working on some basic manners and would benefit from obedience training to help her become the best companion she can be. Her ideal home would include a large, fenced-in yard where she can run, explore, and play to her heart`s content.

Submit Application

Interview

Macomb County Animal Control will verify proper preventative care history of past/current pets and verify home ownership/review a pet policy

3.
Approve Application

Once an application is approved the adoption coordinator will schedule a time with the applicant/family to meet the pet.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a meet-and-greet is successful the family has an opportunity to finalize the adoption.

5.
Pay Fee

Each pet has an established adoption fee and payment can be accepted in the form of credit/debit, check or cash.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

Fees very depending on age, animal, breed, etc. Fees vary and are established by the county to help offset medical and care expenses.

You are required to fill out an adoption application that is subject to review. We reserve the right to deny any application for any reason. If you would like to adopt and dog and already have a dog/s, please bring your dog/s with you so we can make sure the dogs get along. If you rent your home, live in a condo or mobile home community, please bring proof that you are allowed to have pets.
