My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emmie is a 4-5 yr. old, 60-65 lb. Labrador Retriever mix. This pretty girl is incredibly sweet and affectionate. Emmie is eager to please and very responsive to commands. Emmie walks well on a leash and a calm, gentle, confident/experienced and consistent owner would be best suited for her to thrive as she mirrors the energy of her handler.
Emmie is spayed, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, on monthly heart-worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not do its own 'shots' ... all medical care is done by a licensed, certified Veterinarian or done under their direct supervision (ex., monthly heartworm treatments &/or deworming). All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
