This timid but sweet 5-year-old kitty was rescued by students who found him roaming in their SLO neighborhood. He wasn’t feral, just very frightened and in need of a safe place to stay. He’s now becoming more comfortable and enjoying his life with his foster family and feline buddies.

Charles is a real sweetheart and just needs someone to come along to bring out the sweetness in him. He’ll wait for a pet and then will lightly rub his head on your hand as a thank you. He relishes this attention and can’t wait for his petting time with you!

Being FIV-positive makes him harder to place but the love he’d give to his new family would outweigh this minor disability. He is every bit the beautiful friend as he appears to be. A quiet and calm home suits him best and patience is needed as he learns to trust people. This friendly kitty could use lots of attention and tender loving touches; are you up to the task?
