Sup? I’m Beverly, or Bev for short (I like the attitude it gives me). I’m looking for my perfect home where I can be your world, and in turn, you’ll be my world!
I looked up the classic perception of a chihuahua and said, “hold my bear”. Oh yeah, I’m obsessed with my little toy bear that the nice lady Kim gave me. I will throw tantrums if I don’t know where it is, and I’m really good at playing fetch with it! I’ll even bring it right back to you if I feel like you’re worthy enough. My foster mamma says that I’m the perfect dog in the right conditions, whatever that means, I think I’m perfect in all conditions. I’ve heard her say that I should be the only animal in the home, and I totally agree! Why would you want to give your attention to anything else?! By the way, do you know what “fun police” means? She keeps calling me that and I have a feeling it’s kind of rude..? I mean what’s not to love? I have the cutest little “boot-scootin-zoomies”. I love to roll and scratch my back, and I give the meanest cuddles. You don’t need anything beyond me! Once you’re in with me, you’re in for life!
Here’s the thing: I’m very untrusting and feel the need to defend myself even though I don’t have anything to worry about, but I’m still coming around to learning that. A soft voice and gentle hands is all I need to learn that I’m not in harm's way. That being said, I am a one (maybe two) person dog. I’ve got A LOT of love to give but I prefer to spend my time giving it all to YOU. I also have heckin’ separation anxiety, so please keep with you at all times, I promise you I’m really good at chillin' in your lap or in a bed on your desk. I’m also well potty trained, although sometimes I just like poopin’ in a warm room without you knowing still working on that one (hey- you gotta go when you gotta go man). I don’t like when other dogs get all up in my space and I DESPISE cats. Who even invented those things anyways? I also think any small mammal would be an excellent toy or treat, depending on how easy they are to get to. I pretty much think of myself as a feral human child. Like I said before, who needs all those stinky animals anyways?
I’m super good on a leash and LOVE to go on long walks around the lake, I keep up really well! I love my Dino jammies, when I put them on I get crazy attitude, my foster momma calls me “Lil Miss Thang” when I’m in them! Did I mention I’m a good cuddler?
Anyways, if you’ve taken the time to read this then I think you just might be my person. Are you “the chosen one”?
