Say hello to this cute cavy, Acorn!
Acorn loves his zoomies and often “popcorns” throughout his cage and pen followed by a well-deserved nap in his hay basket. He reserves his nibbles for chew sticks, hay, and toys and enjoys chomping the day away. He is one of our chattiest residents and would love to tell you all about his adventures by chirping atop his cardboard castle (while requesting a treat of course)!
Acorn arrived with his housemate but was a bit too energetic for his buddy’s liking at the Rescue. Acorn tends to be an outgoing fellow with other guinea pigs and would do best with a more subdued or younger male pal or two females to establish a bond with if placed with others. He would also do fine with intentional enrichment from adults and children alike.
