My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

He's so funny, so friendly, and so deserving of a home of his own! Elliott, an approx 1 1/2 year-old, 54 lb house and crate-trained Jack Russell/Pit mix (best guess!), loves all humans, has never met a stranger, rides nicely in the car, can be home alone during the workday, would make a great walking/jogging buddy, and is very smart. He LOVES other dogs, but can be a bit over-the-top excited when first meeting new friends, so an easygoing, playful dog is his best fit. He also seems to gravitate to female dogs. (He currently lives with 2 other dogs and teens in his foster home.) Elliott is a master jumper who loves to explore, so if he's alone in the backyard, he needs a tether for safety (but if you're hanging with him, he'll never leave your side!) Elliott is microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered, and his adoption fee is $600.

More about this rescue

Ollie's Angels Animal Rescue is a rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of abused and neglected dogs across the country. Ollie's Angels does not determine whether a life is worth saving based on age, special needs, or physical condition. In our eyes, every animal deserves a second chance at life.

We believe that every dog, as well as every adopter, has a unique tale to tell. Our mission is to consider both the needs of our animals and their humans to find the best possible match for each life we save. Adopting a dog is a very emotional experience, and we are committed to treating all of our adopters with respect and kindness throughout the adoption process.

Our special foster program gives us the chance to get to know each dog on a personal level. This helps us to select the perfect home for each individual dog based on his/her needs and personality. Each and every animal we save is adopted into a safe and loving forever home where he/she will be a cherished member of the family. Prior to being placed in a new home, all of our animals receive the highest quality medical care, as well as being spayed/neutered, microchipped, and updated on vaccinations.
